Resolving a gateway incident
with Bash and OpenShift.

During an incident, gateways were using the wrong configuration. I wrote a Bash script to correct ConfigMap references across OpenShift deployments in two zones.

  • Resolved a gateway configuration incident by developing a Bash script to export OpenShift deployment manifests, correct ConfigMap references and apply the updates across approximately 42 deployments per zone in two zones.
  • Carry out production releases through Shuttle, approve GitHub Actions workflow runs and execute Jenkins pipelines for banking applications.
  • Monitor applications and investigate configuration and runtime issues with the teams involved, using application logs.
  • Contribute to onboarding applications into GitHub Actions delivery workflows.
